SOLD RESTORED, DISTRESSED, OILED, RELINED, COLOGNED, SUPPLE DEERSKIN LEATHER CINEMATIC WARDROBE CALIBER 1970s WESTERN COWBOY VEST
A great customer once asked me to find him a vest with fringes. He loves to be a cowboy. It took me about two years to find one in his size, that was made at a very fine level of craftsmanship. Unfortunately the lining was acetate. And unfortunately it was very clean looking, except for some very gross areas, and it smelled like it had not been worn much but it didn't smell sexy.
With the customer in mind, it was oiled, tanned in the desert sun, relined with strong half linen half cotton lining, given a passport sized pocket on the side he requested, it was also heavily cologned with $1,000 bottle obscure mens cologne and another ever more obscure but less expensive one, Both extinct. Both exceptionally rugged and intoxicating.
