Fred and Lula Bowannie were Zuni master silver smiths that started making jewelry since the 1940's. Fred was also a member of the Zuni Council for many years. This Zuni couple are capable of mastering all types of Native American works. The "dome or knuckle" ring is one of their better known pieces. The Yei bolo is quite unique. They mark their jewelry separately Hallmarked FB and LB.
